A Japanese-speaking pharmacist rushed to the aid of a Japanese student who was pulled out of the CTV wreckage, others jumped into their four-wheel-drives to get people out of the CBD. And in the aftermath, pharmacies were run out of utility rooms and portacoms for years. Here are some of the stories that came out of the disaster that struck the city 10 years ago.
