Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

This role will provide pharmacist support to community based adult mental health service users, working collaboratively within a full multi-disciplinary team. You will be providing direct provision of clinical advice to clients, prescribers and clinicians. This is a community role based within the adult mental health team at Wairau hospital for the promotion of best practice in all aspects of pharmaceutical treatment. You will work with Adults who have moderate to severe mental health conditions .

You will be a motivated pharmacist with recent community and/or hospital pharmacy experience, who is passionate about improving the quality of care for mental health service users.A high level of communication and networking skills will be essential, as will a drive to achieve win:win outcomes for service users and members of the multi-disciplinary team alike.

Current registration with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand is required, along with a current Annual Practising Certificate. Post Graduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy an advantage.
