After a career as both a community and hospital pharmacist Carmen shifted in to full time freelance medical writing and contributes to a number of publications, including Pharmacy Today and the Healthcare Handbook, which she is the technical editor of. Carmen has a postgraduate degree in clinical pharmacy and also writes for the website Drugs.com. She lives in Auckland with her family and loves getting out in to the bush and mountains in her spare time.
