The board of Green Cross Health Limited (GXH) wishes to advise that Grant Bai, chief executive of the Pharmacy and Medical Divisions, has resigned after eleven years with the company.

Grant is committed to working closely with the Board to ensure an orderly transition period.

Grant first joined GXH in 2007, initially responsible for business development and acquisitions then moving to head up the Pharmacy Division in 2013.

In May 2015 he took on the additional responsibility of the Medical Division. Grant has been instrumental in much of GXH’s growth from the merging of several pharmacy brands representing approximately 35% of New Zealand’s community pharmacies, to the conceptualising and launching of the Living Rewards loyalty programme.

In his role heading the Medical Division, Grant oversaw the integration of the Company’s two medical business units and has been key to the Division’s growth.

Grant leaves a very positive legacy in the primary healthcare market and we wish him all the best for the future.

The Board will provide an update to the replacement process when appropriate.
