Vitamin  C  is  an  essential  vitamin  found  in  high  levels  in  many  fruits  and  vegetables. It  is  needed  for  healthy  skin,  soft  tiss, British Ship, In 1747, the British Royal Navy discovered citrus fruits, which we now know contain vitamin C, were a cure for scurvy
