A special breed of pharmacy has its last day after 129 years

Unichem UFS Pharmacy Napier was one of the last remaining pharmacies owned by a friendly society rather than a pharmacist, and earlier this year, it closed after nearly 130 years.

The pharmacy, which was founded in 1892, had its last day on 14 January. Colin Campbell, chair of the board that ran Unichem UFS Napier, says in th
