The prospect of medicinal cannabis products being sold on pharmacy shelves may become a reality as early as next year, following last year’s passing of the Misuse of Drugs (Medicinal Cannabis) Amendment Act. Several companies looking to capitalise on the law change have already formed, but they are unable to make their products until the Government creates a regulatory framework for their budding industry.
