World Smokefree May "Launch" Event
Celebration of the launch of the Smokefree health promotion month, supported by attendance of the Hon. Minister Ayesha Verrall as Associate Minister of Health who will reveal the new branding associated to the Smokefree 2025 goal set by government. Supported by Hapai Te Hauora as the National Tobacco Control Advocacy Service, and other stop smoking services and community based service supporting whanau well-being to provide the whanau on the day with a place to start their quit journey.
The event will signal the beginning of the month of May as a pillar of health promotion for Aotearoa in achieving a Smokefree nation by 2025. A number of local events throughout the month will be delivered across Aotearoa derived by the aspirations of our communities.
