The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand (the Guild) is gearing up to hold our annual Pharmacy Business Network (PBN) in just over a month’s time, on Saturday 28 July 2018, at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland.
PBN is a one day business management conference for pharmacy owners, managers, and staff. Following three very successful conferences we are pleased to be able to hold PBN again this year.
Guild Chief Executive, Andrew Gaudin says, “This year PBN is jam-packed with exceptional speakers and we can’t wait to deliver another inspiring and valuable conference to the sector. PBN offers a unique professional development opportunity for owners and staff with our sessions ensuring participants walk away with fresh and practical ideas to implement in their pharmacies.”
The day will start with a key note address from Bruce Cotterill. Bruce will teach attendees how to build a resilient business and the importance of leaders, people and customers in a changing environment. This will then be followed by concurrent sessions on managing your business and managing your people. Session topics include Managing staff through recognition and reward, 10 easy steps to increase retail sales, Using benchmarking to improve your pharmacy’s KPIs and Creating the culture for innovation.
The day will conclude with a session from mental health activist and 2018 New Zealander of the Year finalist Mike King. The full programme and speaker profiles can be viewed at www.pharmacybusinessnetwork.nz.
Early bird tickets are available for a limited time only for just $249 plus GST for Guild members, pharmacy students and sector representatives, and $449 plus GST for Guild non members. Tickets can be purchased at www.pharmacybusinessnetwork.nz.
