Jilly Alexander of Ngā Kaitiaki o te Puna Rongoā – MPA describes a programme rolled out last year that proved effective in getting more Māori vaccinated against the flu, through outreach and whānau-centred engagement.

The results showed that flu vaccination rates for Māori aged over 65 increased from 45.8 per cent in 2019 to 59 per cent in 2020 Last year, fundi
