Free symposium at Dementia Conference on diagnosing and
treating dementia

A free symposium at this year's Alzheimers New Zealand conference
will help primary health care professionals better understand and
treat dementia - New Zealand's fourth leading cause of death -
while helping fulfil their professional development
requirements.
The Ministry of Health supported, day-long symposium will be held
in Wellington on Sunday 27 May as part of the four-day Future Faces
of Dementia Conference. It is designed specifically for Primary
Health Professionals from both the public and private sectors,
including general practitioners, nurse practitioners, and primary
health respondents.
While the Sunday May 27 symposium is free, thanks to Ministry of
Health and Pub Charity sponsorship, those wishing to take part
still need to register.
